Payment Conditions

Payment Conditions are used for discount. They are copied from Suppl./Cust. card.

We will use the Payment conditions button to enter or edit the payment conditions on the document. A form will appear that allows you to enter the due date and conditions of the first and second discount at the same time.

To enter payment conditions, we can also use the Payment conditions tab on the 1st page of the document in a similar way. If we press the Enter key on the line marked with a cursor, the form with  the defined payment condition will be displayed.

Field Description:

Payment to (days)

We enter the maximum number of days by which the invoice must be paid in order for the discount percentage to apply.

Discount (%)

The percentage of the discount that will apply if the previous two conditions are met.

Discount from net amount

If the field is marked, the discount is calculated from the net amount, otherwise it is calculated from the gross amount.

On the invoice out, the payment terms for the discount are rounded according to the rounding settings on the Payment method.

Payment terms for the discount stated on the invoices affect the amounts of payment documents. I. e. if we pay the received invoice by bank order and meet the conditions of the discount, then the amount already reduced by the percentage of the discount is automatically entered into the bank order. Payments by the cashier, bank statement and internal document also take place in the same way.
