All activities in  the Sales module are based on  the Contract database. Orders have a double meaning  in IS K2:

• Contract codes record.
• Tracking of one sales business case - order, order received, invoicing, delivery of articles.

Contract is in Module Sale the basic document, from Who the subordinate documents are derived Invoice Out, Order received, Delivery Notes Out, Release note and Reservation sheet. The exception to this rule are only the so-called free documents.
