Device

By device in the K2 IS we mean an arbitrary means of transport or other means or tools, which application, costs, incomes and other aspects we want to monitor and post of them. Cars, special tools and instruments etc. are usually record in this book.

To the Device record, we record Abbreviation, Description including Language description and Status. You can enter Comments, save Header text and Footer text and you can also attach arbitrary documents, ext. documents or references by using 9th page.

Device is transferred across the K2 IS in the similar way as other analytical dimensions. In Purchase/Sale module, it is copied from Suppl./Cust. record into superior documents, from superior documents into inferior documents and into the items. You can also find reference to the Device book e.g. in modules of production, finance, service, marketing, in stocks, projects and it can be also used for analytical accounting.

These rights are related to work with this code list: For editing values of a code list, it is necessary to have the right Code lists - Devices - Edit device. For a change of value in Device field in a purchase/sale item, it is necessary to have the right Purchase (resp. Sale) - Items - Change device.
