ARES
ARES service gives overall access to data from information systems for public administration registry about all economic subjects.
Configure ARES service
Configuration of ARES service can be done in tree structure menu Admin/Parameters/ARES Parameters.
ARES in K2 IS
ARES function in K2 IS can be launched with button in Partners or Suppl./Cust. books in change above specific record. In bulk service can be launched (in compliance with operating conditions) also from task planner.
Button activates function to add company data according to ARES database. According to defined Comp. Reg. No. it searches company in database and fills company name and address to Suppl./Cust. or Partners books. Updated records are saved in fields’ history with current date.
Verified bank accounts are imported to Banks tab.
Further this function fills other details depending on function set up in ARES parameters (Admin/Parameters/ARES Parameters): Suppl./Cust. VAT no. and if company is VAT registered, then flag Documents of VAT Purchases; extract from Commercial Register (adds to page 8 of Partner card).
Documents of VAT Sales flag is checked according to settings in partner's parameters and function doesn’t have any impact on this.
Note: Ministry of Finance is not responsible for correct and actual information in the database, so it can happen that ARES will not be able to proceed some of Comp. Reg. Cos. because of incorrect Adresss_text element entry. This error is not caused by K2 program.
Note: ARES should not be launched in task manager if there's more records with the same Comp. Reg. No. in Suppl./Cust. book. All addresses at these records would get overwritten.
Mass Launch in Task Manager
When ARES service is mass launched Ministry of Finance sets strict rules (see extracts from their website below). If conditions will not be met, ARES access will be blocked automatically.
Conditions as stated in Ministry of Finance website:
Purpose to run the application is to provide fast and generally available information about individual entities. This is why ARES access for ordinary user is not limited. Given the nature of ARES operation and it's security, Ministry of Finance reserves the right to restrict or disable access to ARES web application to users who:
send more than 1000 requests to resolve in between 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.,
send more than 5000 requests to resolve in between 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. morning the next day,
try to violate security protection of Ministry of Finance web server,
repeatedly send incorrectly filled requests,
repeatedly send the same requests,
have higher amount of requests entered at the same time (automated XML requests),
get around allowed limits by sending requests from more IP addresses,
automatically research database with random data or generate most of incorrect requests.
Especially at automated requests via XML services we recommend to ensure correct parameters entry with valid and meaningful values. In other case IS ARES access can be denied.
Restoring access to ARES application data, after it's been already disabled in the past, will be done strictly based on sufficient written guarantees which user agrees with Ministry of Finance.
