General modules

General modules are located in the tree menu for Web and E-shop tab. These are basic modules, which are needed to create, maintain and update web/e-shop.

Book Webs and E-shops

It is possible to create and define any quantity of e-shops or webs in this book. We need just one record for every operated web/e-shop. Then the records in the other books are applied or used for this record. We define a basic data here, its behaviour, purchase and payment options and the other related data.

Web vs. E-shop

The main difference between web and e-shop is that the web serves primarily for a company presentation. Contacts, page “About Us”, Gallery of the Company, Article Catalogue and etc. are inserted here. It is also possible to add e-shop option to the web. It is a complex web application that is used as a company representation with e-shop option.
E-shop is primarily used as an internet shop, where the main purpose is the sale of articles.

The K2 IS distinguishes the web from the e-shop using the Web version check box, which is located in the Webs and E-shops module on Basic data tab (1st page).
