Import/Export

In Workflow module is possible to import and export versioned procedures and workflow products. Functions are responsible for data transmission among K2 modules.

Export

Export is done at current record by launching of function Form / Action / Procedure Export.

In field Exit File of entry form we enter path and file name. xml file is saved after pressing OK button.

Import

Import is done by launching of function Form / Action / Procedure Import.

In field Entry File of entry form we choose the file.

When importing we can check following options:

Import to Current Version - if on, imported procedure will be inserted to already created procedure version, which however cannot have any steps created yet.
Keep Persons in Role - if on, contact persons are imported at newly imported roles. If it’s off, roles without contact persons are imported.

Procedure is always imported in “editor“ status together with all data which are entered in imported procedure. Field with contact persons Approved and Reviewed are not imported.

If roles or variables which contain imported procedure don’t exist in K2, to which we import versioned procedure, these will be created together with associated contact persons.

If product which contains imported procedure doesn’t exist in K2, to which we import versioned procedure, only header of the product will be created. If we want to import also version of given product, we use function in Workflow Products book (see Export and Import of Workflow Product).

Import is done by launching of function Form / Action / Product Import. In field Entry File of entry form we choose the file. When importing we can check Import to Current Version - imported product is inserted to already created product version.
